Protection Candle

Created with the intention of helping you create a space that feels grounded, protected, and energetically clear, the Protection Candle is a powerful addition to moments of ritual, reflection, and intentional rest.

Created from start to finish by Janine of Wild Nova, every element of this candle has been personally chosen with intention. From the fragrance and botanicals to the crystals, each component was carefully selected to complement the energy of grounding, protection, strength, and energetic boundaries.

Every candle is individually hand-poured by Janine using 100% soy wax and a carefully selected fragrance oil that is paraben free, phthalate free, cruelty free, and vegan. Each candle is then infused with Reiki energy by Janine herself.

The Scent

A deep and grounding fragrance that blends fresh, floral, woody, and resinous notes.

The scent opens with citrus, tea, rose, and a fresh morning mist. Cedar, white thyme, and lavender bring an aromatic heart, while patchouli, vetiver root, and amber resin create a warm, earthy, and grounding finish.

What's Inside & Why It Was Chosen

Obsidian
Included in both the small and large candles, Obsidian was chosen for its strong connection to grounding, protection, and energetic boundaries. It is often used as a reminder to release unwanted energy and create a stronger sense of stability.

Smoky Quartz — Large Candle Only
Smoky Quartz was chosen for the large candle for its grounding and cleansing qualities. It complements Obsidian by supporting the release of heavy or unwanted energy.

Sage
Sage was chosen for its long-standing association with cleansing and clearing. It complements the intention of creating a space that feels refreshed, grounded, and energetically clear.

Rosemary
Rosemary was chosen for its connection to protection, purification, and renewal. It brings a grounding and strengthening element to the overall intention of the candle.

Nothing in this candle was chosen at random. Janine personally selected the scent, herbs, and crystals and brought them together with the intention of supporting grounding, energetic clearing, and protection.

To help you get the best and safest burn from your Wild Nova candle, please follow these care instructions:

Before Lighting

Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn.

Always place your candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface.

Keep the candle away from drafts, open windows, fans, and anything flammable.

While Burning

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Keep the wax pool free of matches, wick trimmings, and other debris.

The container may become hot while burning. Allow it to cool completely before handling.

Never move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is still hot.

Crystals & Botanicals

Some Wild Nova candles contain herbs, botanicals, and crystals. Please use extra care while burning.

Crystals can be removed before lighting if you prefer.

You may remove the crystals at any time once the candle is completely cool to avoid any potential issues while burning.

Keep botanicals away from the flame and wick.

If a large herb or botanical piece moves too close to the flame, extinguish the candle and allow it to cool before carefully removing it.

Crystals may become hot during burning. Never touch or remove a crystal until the candle has been fully extinguished and completely cooled.

Always use caution when burning candles containing decorative elements.

When to Stop Burning

Stop burning your candle when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container.

Do not attempt to burn the candle until all of the wax has been consumed.

Candle Warning

WARNING: To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candles within sight. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep away from children and pets.
